Material type of plastic packaging box

Plastic packaging is one of the four major materials in the packaging industry: paper packaging accounts for 30%, plastic 25%, metal 25%, glass 15%. Blister and plastic box are a major category of plastic packaging.

There are several classifications of plastics. According to the properties of plastics, there are two kinds of plastics. The first is thermoplastic plastics whose raw materials can be recycled and reused. The macromolecules of this material are completely out of order. We call it amorphous thermoplastic plastics. Such as PVC, PC, PET, etc. These materials are characterized by good transparency, low mechanical strength and good flexibility.

The second kind is thermosetting plastic that can only be melted once. It is generally engineering plastic, mainly used for heat insulation, abrasion resistance, insulation, high voltage resistance and other plastics used in harsh environments. The most common types of plastics in life are frying pan handles and high and low voltage electrical appliances

The raw materials of blister boxes and plastic boxes are thermoplastic. Thermoplastic packaging products have the following characteristics:

1. The auxiliary materials are saved and the forming is easy. The required forming energy consumption is lower than that of steel and other metal materials, saving the material cost. The blister has good sealing performance, is light and easy to transport, can pack any special-shaped products, and does not need additional cushioning materials for packing; The packaged products are transparent and visible, meeting the requirements of environmental protection and green packaging;

It has beautiful appearance and is convenient for sales. It is also suitable for mechanized and automatic packaging, which is convenient for modern management, manpower saving and efficiency improvement.

2. The raw materials of blister and plastic box have good chemical resistance, good acid resistance, alkali resistance, resistance to various organic solvents, and can be placed for a long time without oxidation.
