The commonly used materials for blister packaging products include PP, PET, PVC, etc. How to identify blister packaging materials is a headache for many businesses. Today, the editor of Hefei Yuanlong Packaging Products Co., Ltd. will introduce you the small methods to identify various types of blister packaging materials.
1. PP material features: good softness and toughness, environmental protection and non-toxicity, high temperature resistance, poor plasticity, difficulty in plastic absorption, lack of gloss on the surface, showing a dull color.
Sensory identification: this product is white and transparent, and has higher transparency than LDPE, and has a sound when rubbing.
Combustion identification: when burning, the flame is yellow and blue, the smell is like oil, melting and dripping, and there is no black smoke when burning.
2. PET material features: this material is environmentally friendly, with good hardness, strong transparency and bright surface.
Sensory identification: this product is white and transparent, hard to handle, and has a sound when rubbing, and looks like PP.
Combustion identification: there is black smoke during combustion, and the flame has the phenomenon of fire jump. After combustion, the surface of the material is black carbonized. Rub the black carbonized substance after combustion with your fingers, and the carbide is in powder form.
3. PVC material features: strong toughness and good molding. It will become brittle and easy to crack in case of low temperature weather.
Sensory identification: the appearance is very similar to EVA but elastic.
Combustion identification: black smoke is emitted during combustion, which is extinguished after leaving the fire, and the combustion surface is black without melting and dripping.
